Roberta Walsh, Ph.D.

Professor Emeritus

Dr. Roberta W. Walsh is a founding faculty member at FGCU and served as Chair of the Division of Public Affairs from 1998 to 2006. She earned her Ph.D. degree from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Her previous experience includes 15 years as a professor at the University of Vermont and earlier government service with the U.S. Department of Energy and Federal Trade Commission. In her primary area of research on energy program evaluation, she has authored over 50 publications and presentations. Other areas of Dr. Walsh’s research and teaching interests include comparative public administration and social policy, public sector economics and housing policy.
