Aaron McCalla is the Principal Tuba of the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, joining the orchestra in 2005.  At home as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral musician, clinician, and educator, he sees the arts as a broad place to not only entertain but educate.  Formerly Principal Tuba of the Colorado Symphony, Mr. McCalla has also performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops, the New York Philharmonic, the Jacksonville Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Vermont Symphony, Albany Symphony and many other orchestras.  He has also appeared as a Soloist with the Colorado Symphony, the Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra, and the Naples Philharmonic Brass Quintet.  Aaron received his BM from the New England Conservatory, where he studied with Mike Roylance of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  He also attended The Juilliard School, where he studied with Warren Deck, former Principal Tuba of the New York Philharmonic and Southern Methodist University, studying with Matthew Good, Principal Tuba of the Dallas Symphony.
