Teaching and research interests: 20th-Century Literature & Creative Writing

Professor Brock has been teaching at FGCU since 1998, after having been something of an academic Kelly Girl, teaching at universities in Indiana, Tennessee, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Miami, before landing in Fort Myers. His current projects involve playwriting and performing, where he is a founding member of Ghostbird Theatre Company, the only theatre company in the American South soely dedicated to site-specific performance.  A native of Idaho, he is a big fan of Matthew Barney, Boise State football, and Picabo Street.
