What is the best way to get new clients and customers? Most say word-of-mouth communication. Reports tell us people are four times more likely to buy when referred by a friend. While word-of-mouth promotion is the best way to get new clients and customers, not everyone knows exactly how to get referrals doing business in a "virtual world."
FGCU's Referral Marketing Course will help you develop referral influence and expertise both face-to-face and in the online world. Learn about referrals for salespeople, solo service providers, entrepreneurs, small businesses, independent consultants and coaches; all people who rely on word of mouth to grow their business. The focus is on building the foundation you'll need for an effective system of securing referrals.
In this totally online 8-week course, students learn the seven steps to finding the ideal referral. The seven steps include: how to define your ideal prospect, identify potential referral sources, develop a motivating offer, craft a referral request, outline a recommendation message, design a conversion plan, and a lay out a follow-up strategy.
