Adrian Kerr graduated from the University of Leeds in England in 1974 with a bachelors Degree Summa Cum Laude in Chemical Engineering and Management.
After fourteen enjoyable years with Shell International in Saudi Arabia, Holland and Norway, he was approached in 1992 to be the COO of Hickson International, manufacturers of bulk active Pharmaceuticals. In 1995, a Boston Private equity group invited him to be part of the three man ‘buy in’ team to turn around the 100 year old company BIP Plastics. After it’s successful sale in 2005, he founded Ferniehirst Trading LLC in Florida. From a standing start, with no customers, the company grew to achieve sales of over $10 Million/annum and has become the largest independent importer of speciality plastics into the USA.
He is an internationally respected lecturer in Ancient Civilizations and has had two books published on Ancient Egypt. He spends his vacations travelling and writing and lecturing, mostly in Egypt, India, Java, Cambodia and Burma.
