Need an activity that makes a difference in a young boys life? We can find a volunteer job for you. Yes, your commitment could be more than an hour a week, but think what it means to help a young man grow into adulthood with morals, values, and life skills: cooking, camping, citizenship, personal management, emergency preparedness, family life, and safety (to name but a few) is powerful. Volunteer positions range from Merit Badge counselors, water safety instructors, unit leaders (Pack, Troop, Crew and Ship), Eagle Board of Review members, unit commissioners, day and summer camp staff, training committee members, social media committee, and activities staff. Most volunteer positions have distinct start and end dates (on an annual basis) and have known time commitments.
