Abuse Counseling and Treatment (Domestic violence and assault)

Abuse Counseling and Treatment,Inc. is a non-profit agency serving victims of domestic violence and their children and survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking in Lee, Hendry, and Glades Counties. We offer 24-hour hotline, shelter, individual and group counseling/therapy, court accompaniment, assistance with injunctions for protection, rape crisis center, children's program, professional and community education and a volunteer program.

Job Description:

Volunteers can earn community service hours by helping out at community events or working at our thrift store, Second ACT. Students in a Masters level Mental Health program can apply for an internship in our counseling or residential program that works directly with clients. Students in a Bachelors program can do their service learning in other supportive departments but do not have client contact.
