Neighborhood Health Clinic
||The mission of the Neighborhood Health Clinic is to deliver quality medical and dental care to low-income, uninsured adult workers Collier County, using a professional volunteer staff and funded by private philanthropy.
||We are a non-profit organization giving our patients quality healthcare with volunteer medical professionals and small paid staff. Volunteers make it possible to direct more financial resources to patient care. Volunteers must be at least 19 years of age.
1. Volunteers with leadership and organizational skills work with Clinic staff to create special events teams to represent the Clinic at community and non-profit events such as "walks", informational fairs or parades, typically three events annually. In addition, this volunteer will help publicize the events, put together informational packets, create displays for booths at events and other such related tasks.
2. Individuals to assist with packaging informational and fundraising materials for distribution to the public and donors. The need is typically six individual sessions with 5-10 volunteers.
3. Individual with engaging and enthusiastic speaking voice to assist community outreach staff by contacting and civic and community organizations to schedule speaking opportunities to inform the public about the Clinic's service in the community.

|Worker's Comp for Volunteers?:
||In addition to gaining experience in non-profit organization, the volunteer will have demonstrable evidence of leadership, organization and supervisory experience. When relevant, t-shirts for events may be provided as well as light meals. The volunteer providing superlative service will receive recognition in Clinic newsletter, volunteer medical professionals and to the Board of Directors.
||As for the first volunteer experience, much of the work could be done outside of the Clinic's office.
