Publishing

FGCU has partnered with ProQuest/UMI Dissertation Publishing.  ProQuest is the world's only comprehensive service for publishing, archiving, and disseminating graduate research. By publishing with ProQuest/UMI, you ensure your dissertation or thesis gains the widest possible audience. 
Candidates for master and doctorate degrees are required to submit their final thesis or dissertation electronically through ProQuest UMI ETD.

Thesis Submissions

All thesis and dissertation submissions must be completed and uploaded onto the ProQuest* system at least 10 business days before the Florida Gulf Coast University Registrar’s Certification of Degrees Date for a given semester.

Submission deadline dates for thesis/dissertation upcoming semesters:

Fall 2017:          Friday, January 19, 2018
Spring 2018:     Friday, June 8, 2018

    Congratulations on presenting and defending your thesis/dissertation.  Your final step is to upload your academic work through ProQuest/UMI Dissertation Publishing.  Please follow the instructions linked above.

If you are having trouble logging into ProQuest through Internet Explorer, follow instructions for changing your browser settings.

You may search directly on ProQuest for theses and dissertations to support your research.

You may also search in the FGCU Institutional Repository and find theses and dissertations which have been published through ProQuest.
