Florida Minimum Wage Increase

Effective January 1, 2019, the State of Florida minimum wage increased from $8.25 to $8.46 per hour.  FGCU HR has identified those employees who were impacted—including student employees—who were earning an hourly rate less than $8.46 per hour, and increased their rate to the minimum. 

  • For any impacted OPS or student employees, the new rate was effective with the pay period start of 12/23/2018
  • For new EPAF's, the minimum rate accepted will be $8.46 per hour.
