FGCU faculty and staff can assist students in going abroad by encouraging them to consider spending some part of the academic experience abroad and by guiding them to our office to explore the possibilities and receive support. Academic Advisors assist students through review and approval of academic credit for study abroad.
Our office assists departments in promoting FGCU sponsored programs abroad, through the FGCU Study Abroad Fairs, Information Sessions and Resource Library. Departments are invited to participate in the Study Abroad Fair, each time it is offered. We welcome literature about your programs abroad to include in our resources throughout the year.
We also have information and resources helpful to the development and planning of programs abroad. Please contact us to discuss your ideas, program plans and ways that we can assist you.
