What is a Vision?
Visions are simply mental pictures of what we want to create for the future. They reflect what we care most about, and they are consistent with our values and passions. Visions start with what is important to us and what we think should be done in an area that we care about. Visions can relate to organizations, businesses, issues, communities, universities, or any arena in which we want to put energy and time.
The two compelling questions for vision development should always be:
What will I learn?
"LeaderShape changed my outlook on life. It helpmed me overcome a lot of personal hardships and provided me with friends that understood exactly what I was going through, no matter what the cause; The program developed me as a leader and as a person," -Ciara Winslow, FGCU Graduate
"LeaderShape helped me shape an image of the future that I want to be a part of and really allowed me to find out who I am as a young leader. LeaderShape also allowed me to break down the mental barriers that were inhibiting me from realizing my full potential as an active and compassionate person. Never before have I got to know a group of complete strangers so well in such a short period of time. I developed a family at LeaderShape; a family of mutual respect and appreciation. It was an experience that I'll never forget and never regret," Tyler Offerman, FGCU Graduate
