Our Mission

The Florida Gulf Coast University Testing Center is committed to providing testing services to students, faculty and the local community.

The guiding principle of the FGCU Testing Center is service with dedication to the Professional Standards and Guidelines for Post-Secondary Test in accordance with national practices and standards set by:

  • The National College Testing Association (NCTA)

  • The Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA)

  • The Consortium of College Testing Centers (CCTC)

The student is our primary focus. We provide a user-friendly environment, while providing exam security to support academic integrity and confidentiality. With the instructional-based exams administered by the Testing Center, we strive to support and enhance a student’s formal education with a spirit that moves the student  toward a "Soar in Four" successful future.

The Testing Center at FGCU is an auxiliary unit that charges for all exams administered. We have a strict NO refund policy. In addition, a fee is charged for a duplicate copy of your test scores.
