The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam is required for admission to the FGCU School of Nursing. The test is owned by Assessment Technologies Institute, LLC (ATI).

As part of the admission application process, the School of Nursing requires completion of the Test of Essential Academic Skills Test (TEAS) prior to BSN supplemental application deadline.

Exam Fees

  • $60 FGCU administrative fee is required to scheduling an appointment at FGCU. This fee is non-refundable.
  • $55 test fee, due on exam day. The test fee MUST be paid by credit or debit card ONLY. ATI accepts all major credit cards. You must bring either a debit card or credit card on the day of your exam to pay the ATI fee.
  • $25 rescheduling fee, will be charged if you reschedule your exam.

Registration Process

1. Create an online account with ATI.

If you are applying for admissions to FGCU College of nursing, you MUST select FL-Gulf Coast UTEAS as your school. (Your scores will be sent to FGCU)

If not applying to FGCU, select the school of your choice.

2. To take you test at the FGCU Test Center you must register online.

Register no less than two days prior to the day you wish to take the exam. Appointments are based on availability.

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 9:00AM or 1:00PM.

If you are eligible for testing accommodations, regardless of your FGCU student or non-student status, please contact the FGCU Testing Center at 239-590-7955. Eligibility for accommodations will need to be determined and approved before completing the registration, payment and scheduling for this exam.
