I have been tutoring at the FGCU Writing Center since 2008, when I was a graduate student. I completed my B.A. and M.A. here at FGCU, and I have also been teaching here since 2009—first as a teaching assistant, then as an adjunct instructor, and now as a faculty member. While I enjoy helping students with all kinds of assignments in the Writing Center, I most enjoy working with creative writing pieces and literary essays. I find the psychology, sociology, and forensics assignments to be fascinating as well.
I graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Creative Writing. I am currently in the M.A. English program at FGCU, and have a background in American, British, and Caribbean literature. I have an interest in Women's Studies and Feminism.
I am a Composition I and II instructor at FGCU. I have been teaching Composition since 2009, and have been working at writing centers since 2013. I have an M.A. in English Literature and an M.Ed. in Education, with a concentration in teaching English as a Second Language.
I earned my B.A. in English at FGCU, and am currently pursuing my English M.A., which I am very excited about. I enjoy meeting new people, especially if I can help them in some way. I look forward to helping students with any type of writing, especially literary essays. I find essays written about psychology and biology to be very interesting as well.
