The mission of FGCU’s Compliance and Ethics Office is to assist FGCU with promoting an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance.
The Compliance and Ethics Office establishes standards of conduct behavior and conducts training, outreach, monitoring, and investigative activities to prevent, detect, and resolve issues of noncompliance. The Chief Compliance and Ethics Officer is the administrator for FGCU’s Hotline and a resource for any compliance or ethics-related inquiry or concern that a university member may have.
FGCU’s Hotline is an anonymous reporting mechanism that facilitates reporting of alleged illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. The Hotline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is administered by an independent, third-party provider. The Hotline provides a web-based reporting capability as well as a toll-free telephone-based service.
