The Russians are Coming!

The Renaissance Academy in Punta Gorda was given an experience to remember, by instructor Rachel Cox, a violinist of the Southwest Florida Symphony Orchestra. She played her students samples of classical pieces from Russian composers.

Bicycle at FGCU Herald Court

The bicycle at the Renaissance Academy in Punta Gorda has received unanimous consensus that it is THE best looking bike provided by Team Punta Gorda! The purpose of the bike is to advertise the City of Punta Gorda's free bike program.

Renaissance Academy Punta Gorda Wins Charlotte Sun 2016 Readers' Choice Award

The Renaissance Academy in Punta Gorda was chosen "Best in Charlotte County" in the category of Colleges/Universities by readers of the Charlotte Sun Newspaper. The awards ceremony and banquet was held on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at the Charlotte Harbor Events and Conference Center in Punta Gorda.

FGCU Continuing Ed Charlotte County Honored with Special Recognition Award from The Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce

Thanks to the hard work of Nancy Staub, Program Assistant overseeing the Office of Continuing Education at the Herald Court Centre in Punta Gorda, and her valuable team, we earned the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce's, "Partners in Action 2014-15" Special Recognition Award, at the Annual Awards Dinner — The Chamber's NIGHT OF THE YEAR — hosted at the Isles Yacht Club in Punta Gorda. Alive After Five 2019

On the third Thursday of every month (5:00-8:00 pm), the Punta Gorda Downtown Merchants Association presents Alive After Five -- an evening of music, art and tastings. The Renaissance Academy supports the arts in Punta Gorda by displaying a local artists' work all month and hosting a reception during Alive After Five.
