Admissions Information

Getting Started

Please visit the Office of Graduate Studies website or contact Graduate Studies at 239-590-7988 or for an application for admission and additional information about the application process. Satisfaction of minimum University and program requirements does not guarantee admission to a graduate program. Applicants should check with the program for the most up to date admission requirements prior to commencing the application process.

The application deadline for priority admission to the Nurse Educator Program is May 1. After May 1, applications may be accepted on a space available basis. Students are admitted to the program for the Fall semester only.

Applicants must complete two separate applications for admission to the Nurse Educator Program, the FGCU Graduate Studies application for admission, and the School of Nursing supplemental application for admission in NursingCAS.  Applicants should follow the guidelines below and work with the School of Nursing academic advisor, to ensure that they are admitted to the appropriate progression pathway.  Please click on the links below to view details regarding each of the nurse educator pathways.
