The Advisory Board will assist the Elaine Nicpon Marieb College of Health & Human Services Leadership and faculty to develop the College to become a leader in Health Professions and Human Services education in the State of Florida by enhancing both the delivery of academic degree programs, scholarship, and the clinical preparation of students in the community and beyond.
The Elaine Nicpon Marieb College of Health & Human Services Advisory Board is committed to the advancement of the College by:
·Working closely with the College Leadership to identify needs and opportunities that will support student learning, scholarship, and faculty development;
·Serving as ambassadors in the community and facilitating student placements for educational experiences grounded in academic excellence;
·Serving as a liaison for the community in assisting the College in developing new degree programs and / or refining existing programs that meet work force needs in the region;
·Fostering and supporting critical thinking and ethical practice in all academic programs in cooperation with the MCHHS Leadership, while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among its faculty.
