The Southwest Florida Center for Public and Social Policy
The center was established in 2002 to provide an important educational and practical support service to governmental entities, special districts, and non-profit organizations throughout Southwest Florida.
The Center for Public and Social Policy at Florida Gulf Coast University has a multidisciplinary faculty with extensive experience in land use planning, strategic planning, policy analysis, non-profit administration and governance, survey research, and data analysis. The CPSP focuses on applied and service-oriented work with local governments, involving graduate students and faculty in pursuit of those efforts. Each of our projects combines student energy, faculty expertise, and local land use planners to bear on difficult public problems.
Center faculties have practical work experience at all levels of government, private sector, land use planning, non-profit administration, and community planning.
