Florida Gulf Coast University Master of Social Work Students Presenters at Applied Community Research Day

FORT MYERS, FL - Sixteen Florida Gulf Coast University Master of Social Work Researchers are presenting their applied community research projects to the social service/mental health community from 1 pm to 5 pm, April 26,2001 at FGCU Howard Hall Room 111. The public is invited to attend.

Dr. Johnny McGaha, FGCU Dean, College Professional Studies, Dr. Roberta Walsh, Chair, Division of Public Administration, and Dr. Patricia A. Washington, Chair, Division of Social Work will welcome the attendees. Dr. Washington will answer the question "What Is Applied Research?" Dr. Gary Mayfield, FGCU Associate Professor, Division of Social Work will introduce the students and their projects and announce the awards for the two outstanding research presentations who will receive their award for their research projects (Methodology and Contribution to Community) from Dean Dr. Johnny McGaha.

All presenters are candidates for the Master of Social Work Degree and will graduate May, 2001.
