FGCU Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs Presents Workshops for Healthcare Professionals Opportunity to earn contact hours in human health and performance

FORT MYERS, FL - Florida Gulf Coast University's Office of Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs, in collaboration with Mission Sports Inc., offers workshops for healthcare professionals to earn contact hours July 7 and July 8 at the Cohen Center Ballroom.

Saturday, July 7, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Applied Therapeutic Practices of Motor Learning Rehab Through Sport Skill Movement - Lower Extremities. A unique approach for therapists/trainers to prepare clients for post rehab through the application of reinstating motor learning movements with an emphasis on lower extremity movements in conjunction with core application. Appropriate for all ages and ability. Dress comfortably for demonstration and participation. Fee is $199 and 10 contact hours.

Sunday, July 8, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Introduction to Bio-Energetics. The class teaches the relationship of energy, bio-energetics and performance benefiting the client and clinician/therapist. Understanding the basics, principles and concepts of energetic medicine is an essential guidance to recognizing symptoms and outcomes that affect client success. Fee is $149 and 7.5 contact hours.

Register by June 17 and take both classes for $229. Light refreshments will be served - please bring a brown bag lunch.

William Elizuk is the instructor for both workshops. He is a nationally-recognized speaker, author, educator, fitness specialist, holistic health practitioner, and creator of 4-time national award-winning exercise DVDs for youth and adults.
