FGCU Renaissance Academy for Adults Announces Summer 2017 Lecture & Life Enrichment Program

FORT MYERS, Fla. --Florida Gulf Coast University's Renaissance Academy for adults announces its 2017 summer program featuring an interesting and diverse curriculum of single lectures, short courses, day trips and special events. The Renaissance Academy's summer program will include such topics as iPad/iPhone, Windows 8, Mah Jongg, Tai Chi, Yoga, writing programs, art history, photography, a foreign and classic film discussion series, healthy living, World War II, spies and espionage, birding, baseball and Hollywood legends, days trips to the Dali and Wick museums, and much more.

Programs are open to everyone at one of the Academy's many convenient locations including the FGCU Naples Center on 5th Ave South, Moorings Park in Naples, Bentley Village in North Naples, The Arlington in east Naples, The Brooks Commons Club in Bonita Springs, and the Atrium Executive Center in Ft. Myers.

Summer specials will include one free lecture for any new, first time participants. Returning students can purchase three lectures and get the fourth free with a membership.

Among the Renaissance Academy's offerings are affordable, non-credit single lectures, short courses, day trips, and other special events. There are no exams or grades, just learning for the joy of learning with friends, neighbors, and peers. Course fees are typically $25 per lecture, and provide access to Academy programs located throughout Collier, Lee, and Charlotte counties.
